Rapid Response Containment Boom

The Rapid Response Containment Boom is made from the same base material as the Sheen Devil. It quickly and easily dispenses from the storage container for rapid deployment to encircle spills from fuel docks, overflows and fueling operations. The dual storage container minimizes storage space and doubles as a disposal drum for the boom once it has been saturated with oil. It can be used as a spill clean up boom and a preventative measure against future spills. It is easily deployed and retrieved back into its storage container for future spills. It prevents weathering and separation of pollutants on contact and is environmentally safe. Rapid Response booms are triboelectrically inactive and will not generate static charge. Ideal for oil spill containment or as a barrier against floating debris. Manufactured from heavy-duty, oil resistant, PVC-coated nylon, the Megator Booms have completely enclosed flotation elements of closed-cell foam. Steel weights at the bottom of the boom are sealed in and the whole exterior presents a smooth surface which is easy to clean. The booms are fitted with eyelets at each end enabling multiple booms to be joined together to cover a greater area.
